Booking tests for elderly parents when you live in another city
How to arrange collection, share reports and stay involved without being present.
Distance makes routine testing harder to coordinate, not impossible. The practical parts are the address, the timing and where the report lands.
Set it up once
- 01Add your parent as a family member on your account so their bookings and reports stay together
- 02Save the collection address with a landmark that a visiting professional can find
- 03Choose a slot when someone is at home, ideally early morning if fasting is needed
- 04Add your own number as the contact for confirmations
Sharing the report
Reports are available through authenticated access. Share them with the treating doctor through a secure link rather than forwarding files in open messages.
